Ali's interest in technology started back in high school — his family couldn't afford a computer at home, so he'd spend hours at a friend's house just to use one, teaching himself along the way. That early interest led him to a software engineering degree, and in 2011, while still completing it, he started building websites and digital systems professionally. Since then, he's worked with a growing number of Australian businesses, and is now based in Melbourne.
Along the way, a pattern kept showing up. Small businesses were being sold AI and digital services built for someone else's business, locked into contracts that were hard to leave, with pricing that felt more like a negotiation than a straight answer.
